CREA's Kahi Ankahi Baatein (KAB), a unique mobile phone based info-line in partnership with Gram Vaani, TARSHI and Gurgaon ki Awaaz disseminating essential rights based information on different themes of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for adolecents in India has been recognized by the Mbillionth Award 2017. MBillionth is an initiative of the Digital Empowerment Foundation and recognizes innovations in mobile and digital communications initiatives in India. Reproductive Health Matters (RHM) latest issue on disability and sexuality was co-produced by CREA. This issue focuses on the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women with disabilities and features articles across different disabilities and regional experiences.

Throughout the year CREA also translates RHM to Hindi to help address fundamental issues of access to high quality SRHR resources for the Hindi speaking world. Read the entire publication for free here:

On Monday, May 15th, we are launching the #AbortTheStigma, an online campaign on safe abortion access and reproductive justice.  This two week long campaign ends on May 28th, which marks the International Day of Action for Women’s Health. 

 

#AbortTheStigma is a campaign to normalise conversations about abortion and advocate for advancing access to safe abortion services. The stigma and shame surrounding abortion hinders access to safe services posing a grave risk to abortion seeker’s health and life.
