Director – Art, Media & Culture

Nayantara leads CREA’s initiatives in the fields of art, media and culture. In this role, she builds formally on the organisation’s longstanding interest and interventions in these fields. Previously Team Lead – Communications & Storytelling for CREA, she also works in select areas related to communications for the organisation.

Nayantara has degrees in literature from the University of Delhi and Mount Holyoke College, USA, and has spent more than two decades in media. Her most recent position was Managing Editor of the literary journal The Indian Quarterly. She has also edited several books broadly related to culture and the arts.
