A curated series of online sessions continuing the RECONFERENCE journey
RECONFERENCE 2025, 8–10 December, Kathmandu, Nepal, was a global feminist convening organized by CREA, bringing together movement actors, community mobilizers, storytellers, artists, filmmakers, scholars, and others shaping resistance across borders. With more than 550 participants from over 60 countries, 40+ speakers, 20+ exhibits, a diverse line-up of films, as well as 30+ teach-ins, workshops, and lightning talks, RECONFERENCE was a space that challenged what we believed, pushed us to imagine a different future and gave us a moment to collectively find our way through a too-often-cowardly new world.
We heard from many of you who wanted more, and from those who couldn’t attend but wanted in.
RECON Extended is that next step.
From April to June 2026, we’re opening it up as an online learning series, bringing back some of RECON’s most engaged-with teach-ins and workshops, and making them accessible to everyone.
Over three months, the series creates a space to return to these conversations, sit with them longer, and engage more deeply.
The films showcased as part of RECONFERENCE 2025 will also be part of this journey, culminating in a three-day online film festival in June, along with Q&As with some of the filmmakers.
Who is this for?
