CREA develops publications and knowledge resources, in English and Hindi, in the fields of sexuality, reproductive health, gender, and human rights. These publications foreground global South perspectives and reduce the paucity of resources for Hindi-speaking activists and organisations.
All these resources and materials are made available here on the website, and are mailed out to the organisations and activists that CREA works with and disseminated through various other channels.

This glossary, “विकलांगता, यौनिकता और भाषा: शब्दकोश एक कोशिश, 2025,” on disability, sexuality, and rights in Hindi emerges from CREA’s long-standing work on gender, sexuality, and disability.
Through trainings, workshops, research, and collaborations with partner organizations and communities, CREA has observed that conversations around disability often focus on care, accessibility, and welfare, while discussions on sexuality, consent, relationships, and reproductive rights of persons with disabilities remain largely absent. These engagements also revealed the limited availability of rights-based and inclusive terminology in Hindi to address these issues.
This glossary is part of CREA’s effort to build a shared vocabulary that challenges medical and charity-based understandings of disability and advances a rights-based approach centered on dignity, autonomy, and equality. By offering inclusive and contextually relevant language, it aims to support healthcare providers, media practitioners, activists, and communities in engaging more thoughtfully with the lived realities of persons with disabilities.
