Ashhar has a Master’s in Gender Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He is a recipient of the Ambedkar Fellowship for Political Change, where he worked with a national party as a research fellow. He has also been a freelance writer at Feminism in India, a digital intersectional feminist media platform, and has worked as an event coordinator for the Breakthrough Trust. He enjoys photography and exploring spaces.
