Consultant – Gender and WASH
Nidhi supports the team’s research, design, planning, and communication efforts. Her current focus lies in urban sanitation and gender, and she works closely with the Programme Manager, Director, and MEL team to support project planning and implementation.
She holds a graduate degree in Economics (H) and a postgraduate degree in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi. Prior to joining CREA, she co-led the YASH Fellowship Programme at International Center for Research on Women (ICRW). Nidhi is particularly interested in the relationship between gender and public spaces, which drew her to work on urban sanitation. She has written on these intersections, including a blog post for the Global Alliance for Feminist Transport. Outside of work, she enjoys birdwatching, listening to water ripples, practising origami and calligraphy, and engaging in body movement through dance and yoga.
