Director – Programmes and Innovation
Priya leads strategic work across programmes, research, and advocacy. She works closely with teams across the organisation to guide programmes, research, and advocacy, and helps bring greater visibility to the outcomes and impact of CREA’s work.
Priya has over two decades of experience in research, policy, and programme development. She has served as the Principal Consultant for Gender and Health and the designated Global Gender Focal Point for Oxford Policy Management (OPM). Previously, she worked as a Senior Research and Gender Specialist at the International Centre for Research on Women (ICRW) Asia Regional Office. She also consulted with various organisations, including the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Oxfam, Nippon Koie, SUTRA, The Hunger Project, Welthungerhilfe, GTZ/GIZ, and UN Women. She holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from SOAS, University of London, and enjoys painting in her free time.
