Team Lead – Programmes and Innovations

Shalini leads CREA’s Meri Panchayat, Meri Shakti and Ibtida programmes in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, working with partner organisations to build feminist leadership at the community level. With over two decades at CREA, she has been instrumental in advancing the organisation’s work on gender rights, sexuality, and feminism at global platforms.

A trained counsellor with a background in social science and law, Shalini specialises in designing training programmes on gender, sexuality, and reproductive rights. Her work includes developing training manuals, conducting Institutes on feminist leadership, and providing training on the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act, 2013. Shalini also serves on multiple Internal Complaint Committees and is a writer who continues to develop educational resources in Hindi to challenge patriarchal structures and promote gender equality.
