Sushma organises and coordinates conferences, Institutes, and workshops for CREA.

She holds a diploma in Hotel Management and Food Technology from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai. She worked for two years as the Networking and Operations Manager of the South and Southeast Asia Resource Centre on Sexuality, at TARSHI, New Delhi. She has also worked with other non-profits, as well as at the Taj Mansingh hotel, and some multinational corporations.
